Revelation

Revelation is a piano work born out of a time of global stillness and inner unrest. Composed
during the COVID period, the piece carries both the tension of isolation and the necessity of
silence within it. As the outside world fell quiet, the inner voice grew louder — Revelation seems
to begin precisely there.
Artistically, the work moves between introspection and insight. The piano functions not only as an
instrument, but as a space: a place where thoughts may wander, where repetition offers comfort,
and where subtle shifts gain meaning. Silence is as essential as sound here; it breathes
uncertainty, but also clarity.
The title Revelation suggests not a grand disclosure, but a gentle, personal discovery — as if the
music slowly reveals what was already present, emotions without words that now find their voice
in sound. It is music that does not push, but invites; that does not explain, but allows the listener
to experience.
In this way, the work reflects the COVID period itself: a time of loss and limitation, yet also one
that created space for reflection, re-evaluation, and fragile beauty.
